Antonio may not be a classical singer like Sarah, and Sarah rocks hard core, but he still is pretty good.

I quite enjoy Sarah Brightman. It is unfortunate of how mismatched these two are. Anyone, whom has studied opera (I have a Masters in such) can see Sarah completely out classed Antonio. His great looks do not hide his nasally voice, weak falsetto, and stone-like tone.

Thanks for posting this. I have no chance to see Michael’s performance on stage, but I can still tell he is the best phantom from video and CDs. He has a voice like silk and crystal. And the way he uses it is even more beautiful. His sensibility gives it soul. It’s not surprising that someone just can’t appreciate it as there are people listen without ear, sing without heart:)
@Thevixen8 In the book it is much clearer. Erik’s(Phantom) signature weapon is a noose/punjab lasso, and the theory is that if you keep your hand at the level of your eyes, when he wraps the rope around your neck, because your hand is caught too, it will be easier for you to slip out of the lasso.
As much as I love that musical, the book is alot better! You should read it.
Can anyone explain to me what it means when the lady who brought him there tells him to ‘keep his hands at the level of his eyes’ i don’t get why she says that?
